Aware of the evolution of the market and of the trends inherent to the demand for sustainable forest products, in 2013, Alfredo Correia decided to implement and certify a Management System at the level of the Chain of Custody (CoC) according to the PEFC™ schemes (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council).
Through its Supply Policy and the methodologies implemented, Alfredo Correia exercises due diligence in order to ensure control of the origin and the species of the sold materials, thus guaranteeing compliance with the European Timber Regulation (EU 995/2010).
Giving preference whenever possible to products with an FSC® or PEFC™ claim, Alfredo Correia has a wide range of products with forest certification.
