Wood Veneer

The wood veneer is a thin layer of wood obtained through the stratification of a wood log. These thin layers can present different thicknesses from 0,3mm to 5mm.

This product is commonly used on the surface coating for interior furnishing, being incorporated in furniture and joinery.

The wood veneer production is generally obtained from very high-quality wood logs, due to its technical specificities and the high aesthetic criteria that the very purpose of the product demands.

Alfredo Correia is producing an annual average of 7.000m3 of wood veneer logs through subcontracting partnerships celebrated with some of the best European producers. Among our main species are European Oak, European Ash and American Walnut.

Alfredo Correia has regular stock of more than 70 different species graded by cutting type, quality and length.
